The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) periodically performs “Field-Based Competency Analysis of Universities” to evaluate the productivity of universities comparatively for particular research fields.

According to the latest of these analyses, the competency of Izmir Institute of Technology in the field of Environmental Science-Treatment Technologies exceeds the median score in terms of both quality and volume and got located in the 1st zone of the quality-volume chart. Confirmation of the extent of the impact we generate as a department and as an institution encourages us and shows that we are on the right track. Congratulations to our faculty members!
