Within the framework of the ENV499 Cooperative Education Course, the companies that will host interns during the Spring 2026–20267 semester are listed below.

Overall eligibility requirements for students wishing to take this course are as follows:

• A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.25/4.00
• Completion of both ENV300 and ENV400 internships
• No other courses are scheduled on Fridays (the designated course day), or on the day of the internship
• Not having taken, nor planning to take, ENV491

The purpose of this course is for fourth-year Environmental Engineering students to gain a deeper understanding of workplaces in Environmental Engineering. This course provides an opportunity to reinforce the knowledge and experiences gained during their study period by practicing and to deepen their understanding and observation of their undergraduate programs. To take this course, students are expected to have agreed with a workplace where an Environmental Engineer is employed, received approval from the faculty member who coordinates the course for that workplace, and spend one full day (Fridays) a week at that workplace for 12-13 weeks. There should be no other course enrolled on Fridays. Insurance coverage for the one-day internship will be handled by the Dean’s Office. The workplace, the student, and the Department will sign a Contract describing the internship. Students are expected to perform the tasks assigned to execute workplace-defined jobs, according to the weekly plan developed with the Environmental Engineer at the workplace, within the scope of the 12-week course period. All the procedures will be handled through stajbasvuru.iyte.edu.tr.

The presentation in which students explain the work carried out in the workplace at the end of the term, along with 2 Technical reports (approved by the workplace Environmental Engineer) to be submitted in the 6th and 13th weeks, will be the requirements for grading.
