The YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam) is the national matriculation exam in Türkiye.

📊 In 2021, the lowest-ranked student admitted to our department was placed at 252,071; in 2022, this improved to 224,550; in 2023, it further advanced to 181,138; in 2024, to 144,184; and in 2025, the lowest-ranking student admitted had a placement of 117,986.

Over these five years, we have improved our placement by around 30,000 ranks annually. We continue to strengthen our efforts in the field of environmental engineering and remain committed to educating highly qualified environmental engineers who will shape the future.
