Our faculty member, Prof. Dr. Orhan Gündüz, served as a jury member at the EU Climate Ideathon 2026 İzmir Local Final, held on 26 October 2026 at the Aegean Industrialists and Business People Association (ESİAD).

Funded by the European Union and implemented across 18 cities in Türkiye, the program encourages university students to develop innovative and practical solutions to climate change. Teams selected at the local finals have the opportunity to present their ideas at the national final in Antalya as part of COP31. Click here to view the program schedule.
